About
Welcome to The Palace Station Oyster Bar, a true gem nestled in the vibrant heart of Las Vegas. Renowned for its delectable seafood offerings, this establishment has earned a reputation as a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike. With an extensive menu that showcases the freshest oysters and innovative seafood dishes, The Palace Station Oyster Bar is a culinary haven that promises to tantalize taste buds and satisfy cravings.
One of the standout features of The Palace Station Oyster Bar is its renowned Pan Roasts Combo. This dish is a sumptuous blend of shrimp, crab, and lobster enveloped in a creamy, flavorful stew. It’s no wonder that many patrons rave about it—this dish encapsulates comfort food at its finest, making it a highlight of any meal here. As one delighted guest noted, the rich flavors and hearty portions create an experience that lingers in memory long after the last bite.
Moreover, the Oysters on the Half Shell are a must-try for oyster aficionados. The Gulf oysters served here are flavorful and fresh, offering a taste of the sea that is hard to find elsewhere in the city. But be prepared for a wait; as many reviews express, the lines can stretch for hours, particularly during peak dining times. Yet, patrons like David K encourage arriving off-peak to enjoy the culinary magic without the extended wait—a small price to pay for an exquisite dining experience.
While the ambiance is laid-back and the service can sometimes be leisurely, especially during busy hours, this is part of the charm. Many guests, like Betsy Mendoza, feel that waiting in line can lead to memorable conversations with fellow diners eager to share their own experiences. And with the restaurant open 24 hours, there’s always a chance to enjoy a late-night shrimp gumbo or another favorite dish.
The Palace Station Oyster Bar is not just a restaurant; it’s a hub of culinary creativity. Influenced by a harmonious interaction between Eastern and Western cuisine, each dish tells a story—each taste evokes memories of coastal kitchens while embracing modern flavors. Mohamed Elabd beautifully described this unique gastronomic experience, highlighting how every bite presents a refined balance of culture and technique.
If you find yourself in Las Vegas, make sure to carve out time for a visit to The Palace Station Oyster Bar. It’s not just about the food; it’s about the experience, the atmosphere, and the joy of sharing exceptional seafood with good company. Come hungry and ready for a meal that culminates in satisfaction and always leaves you longing for another taste of those spectacular pan roasts.
“ What a gem a must while in Vegas!! Absolutely amazing pan roast and oysters. The lines to this place can get really really long and the wait can be several hours long, even though it may not seem like it....a little over 2 hours to get seated even though there were just 10 people ahead of us as the seats are very limited at the end of the wait you get seated at this bar-restaurant and the delicious aromas tickle your senses and you just devour the meals being served with your eyes and nose... We got a round of oysters, the pan roast combo and it was all absolutely delicious.... I would definitely recommend those dishes! They do have a variety of spice levels available if you are up for a challenge... We had a good time and I would undoubtedly say that the food was totally worth the wait! 100% recommend! ”
“ a spot that always has a line Pan Roasts Combo Loaded with shrimp, crab, and lobster in a creamy, flavorful stew. Recommended by the server and definitely the highlight of the meal. Rich, comforting, and so good! Steamed Clams The steamer had some issues so they came out more boiled than steamed. Flavor was fine, but nothing too special this time. Oysters on the Half Shell Gulf oysters weren’t quite my type. A little watery and not the texture I usually enjoy. ”
“ The food was as good as always. I had the shrimp gumbo. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed in the food, but tonight the chef was in first gear and had no desire to speed up. Even with an always present line of waiting of at least 10-15 people he had not desire to speed up to increase the amount of patrons per hour. I wasn't the only one sitting there getting a little frustrated at how long it took from time of order to actually getting our meal. ”
“ I’ve had the Oyster Bar on my list to try for quite some time, so on a recent Vegas trip we decided to go for it. This place lives up to the great reviews and then some and is totally worth the wait in line ( our wait was roughly 45-60 mins on a Thursday at 7ish). We met a nice couple in line who were here from Hawaii who come here every trip and for years. We knew what we wanted by the time our counter seats were ready - Cioppino (hubbies fave) and I got the Lobster/Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Truly “chef’s kiss” on both! My husband was blown away by the Cioppino and their version is now ranked “the best he has ever had”. The Cioppino is served with rice vs. pasta which you generally see at Italian restaurants. My dish was exceptional and had the right level of medium spice. The chef was fun to watch and he is a MASTER at whipping up their dishes. Heather and Steve were warm and welcoming to guests making the whole experience even better. My guess is that any time we visit Vegas now, the hubs will demand a visit here! ”
“ Not to use buzz words but it’s one of the first places I think of when I think of a Vegas Institution. I’ve been here countless times and it’s always perfect. The only funny part is the only time you can reasonably eat here is 7am on a weekday. It’s most defenitly worth a wait. But maybe not 2h plus at peak hours, just get here early. I’ve had most of the menu and always seem to come back to the Alaskan chowder but it’s all great. Don’t miss out on the Caesar salad with shrimp either! ”
